10/14/02 - Lotek #7 Audio Samples Available
Lotek Records has signed up Defective Audio for our seventh release. Codex is a full throttle NRG pumping monster with screaming synths and tweaked out bass stabs that make this tune perfect for those peak time sets. Scooby & Booster has a flowing filtered melody combined with an electro style vocoded vocal that takes the listener on journey as it sonicly enters your mind.

10/07/02 - Lotek #6 gets official release
After a very long wait, Lotek #6 is finally going to
press. This record was delayed for a number of
reasons, but due to the high demand by DJ's everywhere, it
is finally going to press and will hit store shelves in
August.

4/17/02 - Lotek #5 is Now Available!
We are very proud to announce that the latest Lotek
Records release by The Pranksterz entitled, "A Typical

1/21/02 - Lotek #5 by the Pranksterz
Lotek Records is proud to announce Lotek #5 will be by
the Pranksterz. Since their first track written together in
1999 the Pranksterz (Acid Ted & Steve Kyte) have established
themselves as leaders in the HardNRG field by always staying
true to their unique sound, and avoiding the cliches of most
modern hard house/hardnrg. This release on Lotek (called "A
Typical Number") shows amazing versatility in their
production. Both sides are complete and utter madness!
Between the hoover basslines, filthy acid builds, driving
synth lines, breakbeats and many a wicked vocal cuts, there
is not much more one could ask of a record.

11/10/01 - Lotek #4 Test Pressings
We just got in the TP's for Lotek #4 and it sounds solid.
The promos should follow shortly and the final release is
expected to hit stores in December. If you want to
check it out you can hear both the A-Side: "Malfunction"
and the B-Side: "Bezerk"
in our releases section!
In other news, the Finals for Lotek #3 are moving
quickly... many stores have already sold out and are
re-ordering now, so get your copy before it is too late!

9/20/01 - Lotek #3 Test Pressings Done
As many of you know, there has been a slight delay in
vinyl pressing lately due to the shutdown of an EMI pressing
plant in the UK. However, we are pleased to announce
that the TP's for Lotek #3 are in and they sound good.
Pressing of the promos and final release are underway and
should start to hit stores by the end of the month!

We are very excited to announce our third release has gone off to the mastering house. This time we are featuring one of our favorite upcoming producers... Rubec
(BulletProof, Hard Trax, Pig Pen, etc). He just got out of the studio with Mik Cree (Dynamic Intervention) where they
laid down the beats for a seriously hard, dark, stomping affair. The track is called "Primitive", and features both the
Original mix and the
"Wardance"

Lotek is the first attempt at an American owned and operated
UK Hard House and Nu-NRG based label. Primed to
represent the US in this new, innovative sound with initial
releases by well known artists such as: Dynamic
Intervention, Chris C, Superfast Oz of OD 404, DJ Kristian,
and Madam Zu. With the long term goal of releasing
domestic material produced by US artists.
